Page 1, Under Matters Pertaining to the General Citizenry, strike the “s” off the word Commission in the next to the last sentence.
Page 2, Item C) Review of Accessory Structures, the word accessory is spelled wrong in the first sentence and the last. It reads “assessory” and the correct spelling is “accessory”.

Old Business:
A) Develop Sidewalk Plan for Township
The Commissioners reviewed the map and discussed setting up policy for the sidewalk fund. Further discussion on prioritizing specific locations and whether the developer would pay for sidewalk improvements. Discussion on establishing the price at the current value rate per foot. Should include this in the ordinance so it would not have to be re-visited every year. As soon as the language is amended to reflect the Commissioners ideas, a public hearing will need to be scheduled.

B) Review of Parking and Loading & Unloading Areas in Commercial District

C) Master Plan Update
Discussion on mixed uses, creating a new
category “mixed office commercial”, R&D in the mixed category and PUD’s. The overall plan is to re-do the map, make
changes as discussed, and then schedule a public hearing. Further discussion is scheduled for the
D) Accessory Structures
The Planning Commission requested that Accessory Structures be dropped from the agenda as they no longer wish to move forward with any further discussion.
New Business:
A) Special Events Permits
Short discussion on issuing special events permits in the township. Maybe a general law ordinance could be drafted addressing only the events that charge admission.

Communications:
Chairman Hummel reported that one of the Trustees asked if the Planning Commission would discuss the importance of noise ordinance and a gun ordinance for the township. More specific, an ordinance regulating the shooting of guns in the township.
The commission discussed the possibility of a gun ordinance and found that it isn’t feasible. Too hard to regulate. They also discussed a noise ordinance in regard to animals disturbing neighbors. They felt it should be a general ordinance adopted by the Board of Trustees. Attorney Kehoe was directed to look into the matter further.
